Meet Mckayla of The Comma Mama Co. – your new favorite SEO expert, blog writer, and Halloween-obsessed ghostie girl.
She's one of those people you simply can't help be a little obsessed with (and I don't know why you*wouldn't* want to be obsessed with someone who dresses up like a ghost for the entirety of October), her kindness is contagious, she knows her shit so well, and she's one of my favorite friendships to come out of the Internet.
And before I turn this entire case study into my love for Mckayla, I should probably tell you that I was honored to write her sales page for her Pod To Blog Program.
The Client
Mckayla is an SEO expert, blog writer, and podcaster for brands who want to grow sustainably without sacrificing their well-being, and now – the creator of The Pod To Blog Program.
Pod To Blog is a 12-week learning experience designed to help podcasters double their content without doubling their workload, by strategically repurposing episodes into blog posts that increase their traffic, listeners, and revenue.

The Blueprint
THE most important part of writing a sales page (or website, or email) is writing it to the *correct people.* Mckayla's program is geared toward established podcasters (not new or aspiring podcasters), since the setup of the program requires a certain number of episodes to work through and repurpose as you go.
And the thing about podcasters? They already know they should probablyyy be blogging their episodes. They just don't know how, or they haven't gotten the results they want out of it – so they simply don't.

If we'd focused Mckayla's sales page solely on the benefits of blogging your episodes, it would feel like *yet another* opportunity to “should” on yourself for those podcasters, because they. already. know. they. should.
But when we shift the focus from the what (blog posts from podcasts, obv) to the how and the difference, suddenly:
- Mckayla's readers see themselves in her page
- They're reassured that she actually does get them, because she's addressing the real problem at hand
- They're much more engaged in her solution, because she actually outlined the accurate problem

What Mckayla's Saying
“This page is everything I need and more – I'm so happy I trusted Amy with it. Thanks to having my sales page done (and done right), I'm able to focus on my marketing and getting people to my sales page rather than converting – that support and security are invaluable to my launch.” – Mckayla Spencer, The Comma Mama Co.
Design Notes
Mckayla's website & sales page were designed by Jasmine of Moose Anchors Strategy and Design.
